The Stoughton Clothing Center relies heavily on volunteers and donations to keep our doors open.
Below are just a few of the many ways you can get involved with our organization. Special thanks to our partner, Covenant Lutheran Church, and the Stoughton Area Community Foundation for their continued support!
Donate Clothing
The Stoughton Clothing Center welcomes donations of new and clean, gently used, in-season clothing for everyone in the family. We welcome donations of new and clean, gently used, in-season clothing in every size for every family member.
Currently we are in need of back to school clothing for children in pre K through high school. We typically begin displaying “Back-to-School” items in mid August, so now is a great time to clean out those drawers and closets!
Volunteer
Are you looking for a low-stress, meaningful volunteer opportunity? The Clothing Center is looking to build a roster of people who would be willing to "sub" for our regular volunteers. Key duties would be to greet shoppers, and accept donations. The Center is clean, temperature controlled, and has great WiFi! You will meet the nicest people, and help the Clothing Center stay open when our volunteers are ill or have other commitments.
Currently we are seeking volunteers to help sort and hang clothing the week of September 15th.
We are looking for volunteers to help prepare for and work at our Winter Wear Event on October 19th.

Host a Clothing Drive
Would you or your company like to host a clothing drive? If so, please reach out to us so we can provide input on what items are most needed.
We would love for you to support us in our efforts to help as many people as possible.
Support our annual Winter Wear Event on 10.19.24
Each year, The Clothing Center collects new and gently used winter wear (coats, jackets, hats, gloves & mittens, snow pants, very gently used boots) and shares them with the community during a day long event.
Currently we are seeking community partners to help us collect items between October 1 and 18th (churches, community groups, schools, service organizations, youth groups)
We are also looking for volunteers to help us organize items and assist shoppers

Donations & Gift Cards
Monetary donations or gift cards to Walmart, Kohls, Target and Amazon are always accepted and go a long way to support our mission. So often we have special requests from area schools and other agencies for items such as seasonal-specific clothing in hard-to-find sizes or other particular needs for a child or family. Donations via check can be payable to “Covenant Lutheran Church” and mailed to:
